Ravenscroft Motor Group was founded in 1979 by Roger & Gloria Ravenscroft and at that time the company specialised in roadside repair and recovery services for motorcycles, cars, vans and commercial vehicles.

The offices, workshops and vehicle storage compound were located in the town of Fleet in Hampshire, where the company continues to have strong connections today.

The business has grown significantly since it's modest beginings nearly 30 years ago and during the past 15 years we have experienced a period of remarkable change. Growth strategies have enabled the business to add complementary activities which today include vehicle transportation, Ministry of Transport (MOT) Testing of cars and motorcycles, vehicle servicing and repairs.

Through a combination of strategic acquisition and the success of our programme for organic growth, we are proud to have grown to be one of the UK’s leading independent rescue and recovery operators.

Our vehicle service workshops and MOT testing facilities have also seen significant redevelopment and investment and these activities have enabled the company to successfully broaden the services offered.

Ravenscroft Motor Company Limited was formed in March 2000 to initially focus on the next phase of expansion of the vehicle breakdown assistance services of the 'Group'.

The vehicle servicing & MOT operations (which in 2000 continued to trade under the Group name) were acquired by our Limited company in 2006.

Roger continues to play a key role within the company today and has been the driving force behind our programme of modernisation.

Whilst the modernisation programme has benefitted all of today's operating divisions, we have not lost sight of our traditional values.

Our customers are those who seek out and expect service excellence. We greatly value the strong customer loyalties developed over the years and today we support motoring organisations, Police Forces, insurance groups, local authorities, fleet operators, car & commercial dealerships along with private vehicle users.
